 Baylen Levine is an American entrepreneur, angel investor and philanthropist. He is the founder and former CEO of The Social Internet which he started in 1999.  Under his leadership the company grew into one of the largest social networks with over 150 million users across multiple platforms including Myspace, IMAlways, Ludic, and others.

In 2005, Baylen made the decision to sell The Social Internet to News Corp for $580 million allowing him to transition into an angel investor. Since then he has invested in and advised many high-profile startups including Uber, Snapchat, Instagram, Pinterest, Reddit, 23andMe, Anthropic  and many more. He takes an active role serving on several boards and working closely with founders to help scale their businesses.

Along with investing, Baylen founded startups of his own as well. In 2009, he co-founded AnyPerk, a rewards and perks startup for companies to offer employees. It was acquired 3 years later. In 2013, he launched FinFluence, a robo-advisor for managing personal finances which was later sold to Personal Capital.

Outside of business, Baylen remains deeply committed to philanthropic causes. Through The Levine Family Foundation, he supports charities focused on education, poverty alleviation, health and human rights. Notable donations include sizable contributions to Teach For America, KIPP Schools πŸ€“, charter school networks and education reform initiatives.
